CD media is cheap, used to store
a lot of information and accessed by anyone with a computer,
but not necessarily an internet connection. CDs can
be used to hold interactive applications, used to provide
information in an involving and engaging way.
CDs hold enough multimedia elements
to entertain for over an hour and with the right techniques
these applications can be made compatible with both
PC and MAC, without the need for producing two different
versions of the program.
